It’s a new year and what better way to start than with a new release of iGrafx. For many years, iGrafx has offered a powerful mapping and modelling tool with a way to collaborative platform in which to share and govern those processes. With the release of iGrafx 17.5, we are happy to let you know that power of our desktop process narrative is being brought to the web. What does this mean?
A process narrative is the story of what you do. It documents and reflects not only the process, but relationships to other processes, ownership, risks, controls, audit and change history, and of course the actual process map. This documentation is fundamental in assisting performers and internal audit teams in establishing common understanding of a process. Now in 17.5, that document is available at the click of a button. Like all other reports in the iGrafx platform, access can be controlled via permissions.
Additionally, 17.5 has more seamless capabilities for individuals working in the desktop client to convert and modify their diagrams using iGrafx web modeling.

Many of our customers have been thinking for some time about how to reduce ongoing IT and software maintenance costs. The iGrafx hosted cloud is SOC-2 compliant, uses Microsoft Azure datacenters for security and global scalability, and ensures that your system is always available when you need it with 24/7 support. Our latest release of 17.5 and its ease of diagram migration is just one more reason to switch.
